NCGS Scholarship Program

NCGS prides itself on providing affordable lessons to Hartford and Tolland Counties.  To that end, we provide financial assistance in the form of scholarship to our students.  Below are the policies of our Scholarship Programs offered at NCGS.
Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Scholarship is based upon the financial need of the family applying and students' progress and attendance (for returning students).  The following information is needed to process a family's application:
  • Families provide a confidential explanation of source of income(s), family size, and circumstances.
  • Additional Financial Information - for example:
                        - Most recent US Tax Form
                        - Copy of your W2
                        - Proof of Unemployment
                        - Proof of Social Security

Please note that the Financial Aid Scholarship does not award full tuition scholarships.  The aid provided will be a percentage of the student's final tuition for a full term.  The remainder of the balance after the scholarship can be paid in full or in monthly installments to be determined between the family and NCGS.  Families are expected to stay in good standing (IE - pay in a timely manner, regular attendance to private lessons and group classes, etc...)
Talent Scholarship
NCGS' Talent Scholarship is awarded to those students who show hard-work and dedication to their studies at NCGS.  These scholarships are awarded on the following factors:

  • Student's playing ability
  • Student's work ethic
  • Regular attendance to lessons and preparation
