College and Audition Preparation
Mr. Cutroneo has over 15 years of experience teaching in Connecticut. During this time he has guided multiple students towards obtaining their audition goals. Whether it is audition preparation for their school/regional/state ensembles like Jazz Band, or for College Auditions on Classical or Jazz Guitar, Mr. Cutroneo works closely with the student to aid in achiving their desired goals.
As Professor of Guitar at Central Connecticut State University, Mr. Cutroneo understands what repertoire is acceptable and the standard of technique necessary for collegiate auditions. Over the years, Mr. Cutroneo's students have auditioned at and have been accepted to the following colleges: New England Conservatory, Ithaca College, The Hartt School of Music, The Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin, and The University of New Haven.
